Before You Arrive

Bring a valid government-issued photo ID — a driver’s license, state ID, or passport. Checking In

Our office is located at 1000 Ballpark Way, Suite 300 inside Choctaw Stadium, Arlington, TX 76011. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Check in with security at the entrance and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. Staff will check your ID and confirm the type of fingerprinting needed.

The Fingerprinting Process

For Live Scan (digital) fingerprinting, you’ll place each finger on a glass scanner. The machine captures a high-resolution digital image — no ink, no mess. For ink card (FD-258) fingerprinting, we use a traditional ink-and-roll method onto standard FBI cards. Both methods take about 10 minutes and are completely painless.

What Happens Next

For Live Scan submissions, we transmit your prints electronically to the FBI or state agency the same day. As a certified FBI channeler, results typically come back in 24–48 hours — compared to 6–8 weeks with mail-in services.
