I-9 Employment Verification in Arlington & DFW
Hired someone you cannot meet in person? We act as your authorized representative: we meet your new hire, examine their original documents, and complete Section 2 of Form I-9 so your paperwork gets done on time.
Office appointment, one employee: $35. Mobile appointment, one employee, local travel included: $75. Additional employees at the same location and visit: $25 each.
We don't just talk business.
We are Just Doing Business.
A new hire in the DFW area should not hold up your onboarding. Every employer has to complete Form I-9 for each new hire. The employee fills in Section 1, and the employer, or someone the employer names to act for them, has to examine the employee's original documents in person (unless the employer uses the E-Verify remote alternative procedure) and complete Section 2. When your new employee lives in the DFW area and you are somewhere else, that in-person step is the hard part.
Just Doing Business LLC can be that person. You name us as your authorized representative, we meet your new hire at an agreed place and time, examine the original documents they present, and complete Section 2 of the form. The form goes back to you to keep with your records. The employer stays responsible for the form, so we walk you through exactly what we will do before we meet your hire.

How Section 2 Works When You Cannot Meet Your Hire
Form I-9 confirms that a new employee is allowed to work in the United States. The employee completes Section 1 by their first day of work. The employer then has to look at the employee's original documents in person (unless the employer is enrolled in E-Verify and uses the remote alternative procedure) and complete Section 2, within three business days of the employee's first day of work.
An employer may name an authorized representative to do that in-person step. That person can be anyone the employer chooses. Our job is narrow and clear: we look at the originals your employee presents, record what we see on Section 2 the way the form asks, and sign it. We do not decide who you hire, and we do not give legal advice.
Good to know: the employee chooses which acceptable documents to present, and the documents must be originals. Tell your new hire to bring them to the meeting.
Not sure how the form applies to your business? An employment attorney or the official USCIS Form I-9 guidance is the right place for that. We make the in-person step easy.

I-9 Verification Questions, Answered
Quick answers for employers with a new hire in the DFW area. (972) 850-6982.
What does an authorized representative do on Form I-9?
An authorized representative is a person the employer names to examine the employee's original documents in person and complete Section 2 on the employer's behalf. The employer remains responsible for the form.
Does Form I-9 get notarized?
No. Form I-9 is not notarized, and a notary's seal has no place on it. This service is document examination and Section 2 completion as your authorized representative.
What does my new hire need to bring?
The original documents they choose from the acceptable documents on the form. Photocopies are not accepted. We explain what to bring before we meet.
How soon does Section 2 have to be done?
Section 2 is due within three business days of the employee's first day of work. Call as soon as you know the start date so we can plan the meeting.
How much does it cost?
We confirm the fee for your hire before the appointment is booked, so there are no surprises.
Can you tell me which documents my employee must show?
The employee chooses which acceptable documents to present, and an employer may not require specific ones. We can point you to the official USCIS guidance, but we do not give legal advice.
