Your Questions, Answered

Find clear, detailed answers to common questions about our mobile notary, fingerprinting, real estate, and business services in Arlington & the DFW Metroplex.

General Questions

  • What areas do you serve with your mobile services?

We proudly provide mobile services across the entire Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. While our office is in Arlington, our team is equipped to travel to your location in Dallas, Fort Worth, Irving, Plano, Grand Prairie, and all surrounding communities for your convenience.

  • What are your business hours?

Our office in Choctaw Stadium accepts walk-ins from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Our mobile services are available 24/7 by appointment. For any after-hours or weekend service, we recommend scheduling in advance to ensure availability.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

We aim to make payment as easy as possible. We accept all major credit/debit cards, Zelle, Apple Pay, and cash. Payment is due at the time service is rendered.

Notary & Apostille Services

  • What do I need to bring for a notary appointment?

All signers must be physically present and bring a valid, unexpired, government-issued photo ID, such as a driver's license, state ID card, or passport. Most importantly, please do NOT sign the document beforehand; you must sign it in the presence of the notary.

  • What is an Apostille and why would I need one?

An Apostille is a special certificate that authenticates a public document (like a birth certificate or court order) for use in another country. If you're dealing with international adoption, business, or legal matters, you'll likely need an Apostille. We simplify this complex process with the Texas Secretary of State. Learn more here.

  • Can you help me prepare my legal documents?

As a Notary Public, our role is to verify identity and witness signatures. We are prohibited by law from providing legal advice or assisting in the preparation of legal documents. If you need help drafting or understanding a document, we strongly recommend you consult with a licensed attorney.

Fingerprinting & FBI Checks

  • What is the difference between Live Scan and ink fingerprinting?

Live Scan is a modern, digital process where fingerprints are captured electronically without ink. It's faster, cleaner, and has a lower rejection rate. Ink fingerprinting is the traditional method using ink on a physical card (like the FD-258). We offer both, as some agencies or states still require physical ink cards.

  • How does the FBI background check process work?

As an approved FBI Channeler, we make the process fast and simple. We capture your fingerprints electronically using a Live Scan system and submit them directly to the FBI. This secure method allows us to deliver your official report via a secure link, typically within 24-48 hours. Learn more here.

  • Is an FBI background check the same as a state check?

No. An FBI background check is a nationwide report of your criminal history from all 50 states. A state-level check, like one from the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), only contains records from within Texas. The one you need depends on the requirements of the agency requesting it.

Tax & Real Estate Services

  • Are you a certified tax preparer?

Yes, I am a licensed PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number) holder and an IRS Authorized E-File Provider. This authorizes me to legally prepare and electronically file federal tax returns for individuals and small businesses. Learn more here.

  • Do you offer remote tax services?

Absolutely. We offer maximum flexibility. We can come to your DFW location for a personal consultation, or you can use our secure online portal to upload your documents for a completely remote filing experience.

  • How are your real estate services different?

As a Realtor, I integrate my broad business expertise into every transaction. This means I bring a sharp eye for customer service, skilled negotiation, and a comprehensive understanding of the entire process, including the notary and documentation services that are critical at closing.
